Admissions Policy

The admissions policy of the institution reflects its philosophy and objectives. As a minimum, however, an applicant must have one of the following to be enrolled as a regular student:

  • High School Diploma
  • General Education Development Certificate (GED)
  • Foreign Equivalent of a High School diploma

The applicant must be 17 years of age or over. Exceptions may be made by the Rosh HaYeshiva if the candidate shows outstanding abilities. The scholastic requirements for entrance are a basic understanding of the Bible and Talmud. Applicants should have some familiarity with the Hebrew language and Jewish tradition and culture. The College offers special programs for those who have not participated in an intensive preparatory program in the above areas.

In order to determine a student's suitability for admission, recommendations from responsible persons in his community will be considered. These should reflect the student's moral and personal integrity, and other qualities that would directly reflect on his potential to become a successful member of this institution. Therefore, two references from members of the student's community are requested.
