"New Yeshiva Campus Project Moving Forward"

Since acquiring the former Howard Johnson, the Yeshiva has made great strides in the planning and development of the property. Many, many hours have been spent with the architects planning usage – conceptual and spatial – and it is nearing completion. Additionally, several community members have been approached for their expertise in construction, finance and planning, to serve on an advisory board; their perspective has already become an invaluable resource, which will further the success of the project. Some preliminary details: the current hotel structure will be renovated to contain 3 1/2 floors of apartments available to faculty, staff and kollel families; 44 dormitory rooms for Yeshiva and Mechina students; 10 classrooms, 15 offices, 2 conference rooms, computer and science laboratories, and libraries. New construction is to include Batei Midrashim for the Yeshiva/Kollel and for the Mechina Junior High and High Schools, playing fields, and 20+ townhomes that will be available to Talmudic's faculty and staff.

Situated on 2.5 acres at the corner of 41 Street and Alton Road—the entrance to Miami Beach—Talmudic University's new campus will be a beacon to the entire Jewish community.
