These insights in the Haggadah were culled from shiurim given by the Rosh HaYeshiva over the years to Miami Community in the weeks before Pesach. This CD is the first in a series of Insights into the Haggadah.
Some of the questions discussed are:
- Why do we invite guests only after the beginning of the Seder?
- Why do we use matza, the poor man's bread and symbol of our servitude, as our symbol of freedom?
- Why is the appropriate answer for the wise son that one may not eat the afikomen, how does that answer his question?
- What kind of chinuch is it to encourage our children to steal the afikomen?
